Brunswick Soil & Water Conservation District

Welcome to the Brunswick Soil and Water Conservation District. We are dedicated to the promotion and management of natural resources through leadership, technical assistance and education for the benefit of Brunswick County citizens.

Code Administration

The Code Administration Department includes building inspections, central permitting, and the fire marshal. We oversee building and fire permitting and inspections.

County Attorney’s Office

Welcome to the Brunswick County Attorney’s Office! We represent the county government in legal proceedings, provide legal advice to the Board of Commissioners and county departments, and supervise the drafting of ordinances and legal documents.

County Manager’s Office

The County Manager is the chief administrator of county government and is appointed by the Board of Commissioners.

Emergency Management

Welcome to Brunswick County Emergency Management. We provide fire department support operations, as well as emergency management and planning services for Brunswick County.

Emergency Medical Services

We coordinate and provide medical responses to emergency events and individual health emergencies, and we provide life-saving community services like CPR training.

Engineering

We manage county Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects, conduct field construction observation for county projects and developer projects, and administer the county Stormwater Program and Ordinance.

Environmental Health

Our services focus on educating and protecting the health and well-being of the citizens and tourists that enjoy the lifestyle of this area.

Finance

We oversee fiscal operations for the county, including maintaining accounting records in compliance with local, state and federal laws and assisting with preparation of the county’s annual budget.

Fire Marshal

On-call fire marshal staff provide coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Floodplain Management

Register of Deeds

The Register of Deeds provides numerous services to the working community and general public including recording legal documents and maps, issuing marriage licenses, certifying documents, and administering oaths.

Sheriff's Office

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office believes in the dignity and worth of all people. It is the duty of our office to safeguard lives and property as well as to protect the innocent from becoming victims of deception and oppression while always respecting the people’s constitutional rights.

Solid Waste & Recycling

Welcome to Brunswick County’s Solid Waste Division! We operate the county landfill, coordinate household solid waste (garbage) pick-up, and contract with GFL Environmental to provide additional services.

Tax Office
