Book Club in a Bag

Introducing Book Club in a Bag! This new collection features over 20 “book clubs” ready to go with sturdy tote bags that include 10 copies of a book and book discussion questions.

The collection was selected by a team of library staff and features a variety of award winners, bestsellers, and more. Each bag has everything you need to host a book club discussion with a guide that has questions made up from guides from publishers, authors, and your very own Brunswick County Library staff!

• Any Brunswick County Library cardholder may borrow a Book Club in a Bag.
• Kits are available through the Brunswick County Library request system in the card catalog, by calling (910) 253-BOOK, or in person.
• You can reserve a title, but remember kits are first come first serve! At this time the bags cannot be requested for a certain date.
• The bag will be checked out on the library card of the person picking up the bag. That person is completely responsible for the bag and all of its contents.
• The kits can be checked out for 6 weeks and cannot be renewed.
• No more than 1 kit can be checked out at a time by a patron.
• Everything must be returned at the same time to any Brunswick County Library branch. Please do not have the book club members return their own books to the library.
• The Book Club Bag must be returned with all its contents at the same time.  Please check the contents before returning the kit. The replacement cost of the entire kit is $175. Replacements cost for each book is $15.00; there is a $1.00 per day late fee for Book Club In a Bag. The bags should be returned to the service desk at any Brunswick County Library.
