GSATS is studying ways to improve the Holden Beach Causeway from a land use and transportation perspective to better understand how commuters currently use the corridor and what ideas community members have for possible improvements.
The NC 211 East Coast Greenway Feasibility Study is an exciting project that is evaluating the NC 211 corridor from the Southport Ferry Terminal to Stone Chimney Road for the potential to create dedicated biking and/or walking facilities as part of the East Coast Greenway and NC Bike Route 3 (Ports of Call).
The North Carolina Office of Recovery and Resiliency (NCORR) and the NC Rural Center, in collaboration with the North Carolina Councils of Government (NC COGs), are working with NCORR’s RISE Program to develop a portfolio of priority projects that strengthen regional resilience.
