Scheduled Water Outage

Due to waterline relocation at a construction site, Brunswick County water customers in the Golf View Road area of Boiling Springs Lake will be out of service beginning at 8:00 am on 06.26.2025 to allow for the work to be completed. Service is expected to be restored before 5:00 pm on 06.26.2025. This outage affects the addresses listed below:

  • 840, 850, 860, 861, 870, 871, 880, 881, 890, 891, 900, 901, 910, 911, 920, 921, 930, 931, 940, 941, 950, 951, 960, 961, 970, 971, 980, 981 - Golf View Road

Consumers will need to store water in containers during this outage, as water service will be temporarily turned off during this time. Please note that one fire hydrant will be out of service during this time. Once water has been restored, Brunswick County Public Utilities and the NC Division of Water Resources advise consumers to boil all water or use bottled water for human consumption until further notice. Consumption includes drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation. Vigorous boiling for one (1) minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water.

Twenty-eight (28) residential connections will be affected. Customers have been notified by door hangers and ReadyBrunswick. Brunswick County will provide additional information when this advisory is lifted.
