Board of Commissioners

Overview

The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners are elected by the citizens to make decisions about county government and ordinances. One Commissioner is elected from each of the county's five districts for four-year terms. The Commissioners vote on many issues of county government, including the annual budget. The Commissioners do not have offices at the Government Center. The Commissioners typically meet on the first Monday of the month at 3 p.m. and the third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers of the David R. Sandifer Administration Building.
